The iPhone has always taken some pretty amazing photos, but only recently – with iOS 4 – did it allow digital zoom. Even then, using digital zoom can produce some pretty awful results: images tend to get pretty noisy or blurry, especially if you’re not holding your phone perfectly still. With a crazy telephoto zoom lens, however, you might be able to do something about that noise, though the blur factor will undoubtedly increase.
The telephoto lens for the iPhone you see above will give you 8x zoom, but unless you have your phone mounted on a tripod and you’re very careful about initiating a shot, you might get some craptastic photos and lots of blur.
