Element Case — which is a manufacturer of machined aluminum mobile accessories — announced Vapor Pro iPhone 4 case with “bold new look” and added protection. The ultra-light weight accessory attaches to Apple’s smartphone on two opposite corners while offering access to ports on all sides of the device. Moreover, a proprietary aerospace polymer section of the Vapor Pro’s frame has been incorporated at the lower left of the case to prevent the infamous death grip.
The first offering of the Vapor Pro will be designated with an “FE” symbol for First Edition, and the bundled kit includes a machined installation tool, removable carbon fiber back plate and a molded EVA zipper case. Additionally, the case will rock a special two tone electrolytic hard coated finish to resist abrasion many times that of traditional anodizing.
All said you shouldn’t be surprised to learn that the Vapor Pro costs $149.99. That’s super steep, but then again I’m sure super-rich Apple fanboys won’t mind paying a premium to differentiate themselves from the Average Joe’s iPhone…
