Tweet, Tweet! A quick note here for all of the Twitter for iPhone users out there this morning. The application has been updated to version 3.3.1.

While the update is not a critical one, some noteworthy changes have been made. First, the quick bar default behavior has been set to NOT overlap tweets by default in your timeline. Second, if you were experiencing the frustration of repeated crashing, changes have been made to address this. Third (and finally) the usual batch of security and performance tweaks have been included for your pleasure.

Installation is easy as pie. If you already have the app installed, just pop open the app store and the update should be waiting for you within the ‘updates’ section. Tap on ‘updates’, look for the app, and install. If you haven’t tried it yet, first off, shame on you… Second, all you’ll need to do is hit up the iTunes link below, or open up the App Store on your iPhone and search for ‘Twitter’. You’ll find it… and yes, it’s free.
