Millennial Media’s Android SDK 4.1 enhances full page video ads

Millennial Media launched a new version of its Android SDK, which is said to “take full advantage of the campaigns on their network yielding the highest CPMs” – particularly those utilizing Full Page Video Ads. You’ve read that correctly – we’re talking about the most annoying ad type here, which at the same time brings more money to the app developers (so we need to tolerate them).

Anyway, here’s what the ad network’s Android SDK 4.1 brings:

  • Allows creation of a quicker, smoother Full Page Video Ad experience with cached video content.
  • Support for interactive elements to be displayed during Full Page Video Ad play, delivering a “more engaging experience” that yields a higher CPM.
  • Enables transparency for parts of Full Page Image Ads.
  • Simplifies integration of SDK code for use in conversion tracking and performance ads.
  • Allows XML layout as an alternative implementation of Millennial Media’s SDK.
