Remember Bust-a-Move? The classic bubble-shooting puzzler has long been one of my favorites. Shoot the bubbles to match 3 or more of the same color to make them disappear… and continue on until all bubbles are popped. Remember it? If you do, there’s a new game in the App Store that will surely float your boat. Called Bubble Bust!, it’ll look very familiar to the retro gamers out there.
Must like the classic title, Bubble Bust! is easy to play. However, you don’t have to ‘aim’ your bubbles like you had/have to in older titles… simply slide your finger around the screen and release when you want to shoot. It may take you a few shots to get used to it… but once you do, I think you’ll find accuracy and control are not too hard to come by.
Inside you’ll be able to explore and progress your way through 76 levels, each jam-packed full of beautiful graphics (they look great on the iPhone 4) and arcade inspired music. There’s even a global high scores list, which is helpful if you’re feeling a tad competitive.
