After the original iKlip which was made for the iPad, IK Multimedia is out with a similar (yet smaller) product for iPhone and iPod Touch users. In that sense, the new iKlip MINI allows mounting of the iOS device on a mic stand, pole or tripod – making it perfect for use on stage, in the studio, at school or in the office.
The device itself is made of sturdy, durable thermoplastic and will work with every existing iPhone and iPod Touch, from the original models to the latest generation devices. iKlip MINI firmly holds the device in place in both horizontal and vertical positions, and its multi-angle adjustable design allows for “optimal viewing and accessibility to all controls, buttons, connection ports and camera free from obstruction.” Moreover, it can also be rotated from portrait to landscape position by simply loosening or tightening a knob.
Finally, the press release says that the iKlip MINI can be easily paired with other IK Multimedia products such as the guitar interface adapter iRig and the handheld microphone iRig Mic.
