Sony Ericsson’s two mid-range Android smartphones, Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro, are now available for pre-ordering in the UK through BuyMobilePhones. The phone retailer is offering both devices with a number of plans from all major British carriers, excluding Three.
The good news is that you can get any of the two phones for free with a not-that-expensive plan. However, that plan, which is offered by T-Mobile UK and costs 15.32 GBP per month, doesn’t come with tons of minutes and data. For instance, Xperia Mini with that plan gets you 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of mobile data per month. If you want the Xperia Mini Pro, the same money gets 300 minutes and unlimited texts per month, but no mobile data at all. Luckily there are a bit more expensive options that include more minutes and more data.
As a reminder, both Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro sport a 3-inch HVGA touchscreen, 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and a memory card slot.
