A leaked roadmap from inside Sprint tells us that they’re planning multiple devices to launch on August 21. Among them are the BlackBerry Bold 9930, Torch 9850, and the entry-level WiMAX-enabled Samsung Conquer (D600). The Motorola Photon (MB855) will be dropping July 31, while the new BlackBerry Curve 9360 along with a few new Kyocera phones will be launching September 9. There’s a Motorola XT603 listed for an October 2 launch, but haven’t heard much else about it. Another device that’s something of a mystery is the ZTE tablet listed for a Q1 2012 release. There are a few things it could be, but knowing ZTE, it’ll be affordable one way or the other.
The real downer here is that the Samsung Galaxy S 2 is still nowhere to be seen, which promises to set the bar for high-end Android hardware for the next little while. The LG Optimus Black may squeeze its way into Sprint’s lineup at some point too, but again, there’s no sign of it in this calendar. Sprint has no plans for any new HP hardware, but considering the TouchPad’s reception, it’s not surprising that they’re shying away from the Pre 3.
Sprint customers, are any of the above devices calling out to you? With the AT&T and T-Mobile merger looming, I’m curious to see how many cutting edge devices Sprint is left with after the big boys claim their exclusives.
