Canada’s Rogers Wireless will be adding the LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy S II to its portfolio. Starting from September 28th, customers in Toronto and Ottawa will be among the first ones to get their hands on the super-fast and super-awesome Android smartphone. Yep this includes our very own Simon Sage, who will undoubtedly try to get a review unit and let you know what he thinks about it.

Alternatively, the carrier will also offer the LTE Rocket mobile hotspot (Sierra Wireless AirCard 754S), Rogers LTE Rocket stick (which is now available in Ottawa), with other LTE products — including some HTC smartphone and a tablet — to follow shortly.

In related news, we hope Verizon will also have its version of the LTE-based smartphone and that some European countries will get it too, despite Samsung saying that won’t happen until the second quarter of 2012. We’ll definitely we watching for “anything LTE” and let you know as soon as we hear something new…
