T-Mobile’s “Values Day 2011” coming on September 24th?

T-Mobile USA is preparing for the so called “Values Day 2011,” which is believed to take place on September 24th. As far as we know, it will be a one-day mega sale, when many of the magenta-colored phones will be offered for less. And while we don’t have the specifics (i.e. the price list), we know that T-Mobile stores across the country are getting various promotional materials as we speak. Balloons pictured above are part of this marketing scheme so don’t get surprised when you see them in a local T-Mo store.

According to the Interwebs, T-Mobile is organizing such a sale to get people to stick to their network weeks before the iPhone 5 launches. It’s a common sense when you think about it – get people to spend their money and commit on a new (or prolong an existing) contract before they decide to leave the network.

There’s also another angle to this story – Samsung Galaxy S II, which too could launch on September 24th. We’ll see…
