HP’s 7-inch TouchPad Go (Opal) caught at a Chinese forum

We’ve already heard that HP wanted to launch a 7-inch version of a webOS tablet called TouchPad Go (Opal). Unfortunately, the company killed its mobile platform before such a product was ever released, and we never got to meet TouchPad’s smaller brother. Luckily few TouchPad Go units made it out into the wild and we’re glad to show you the photos we got from a Chinese forum.

Before you click on every single image (presuming you actually care how this thing looks like), let me say few things about its guts. Just like the original TouchPad, the 7-inch version also features a 1024×768 pixels touchscreen, as well as the same 1.5GHz APQ8060 Snapdragon processor, 16GB of built-in storage and a front-facing camera. All in all, it could’ve been an interesting device with a 7-inch XGA resolution (4:3 aspect ratio) display — 7-inch tablets usually sport 800×480 or 1024×600 pixels screens.

Anyway, you want to see the leaked photos, right? Here they are. Enjoy!
