Playing games with friends in your/their home = not cool. Doing the same via Facebook = cool.
That seems to be the formula behind the success of Zynga, which is the company that pretty much rules the social gaming industry. To be fair, there’s also a convenience factor here and we gotta give it to Zynga for banking on the ease of use and Facebook’s popularity.
Anyway, on the heels of the iOS launch, Zynga’s Hanging With Friends has been released in the Android Market. Initially it was available for users outside of the U.S. (not sure which countries exactly, though), but now Americans are free to join the fun as well.
The game — for those who don’t know what it is all about — is a version of Hang Man that “adds creativity, strategy and fun for all ages.” Also included are “cute characters in perilous situations” and instant replay function that lets you see your opponent’s guesses…
