Samsung unveiled a new slim Bluetooth headset HM7000, touting it as the “the ultimate overachiever.” Available at T-Mobile retail stores nationwide and online beginning late October, and at select RadioShack stores nationwide starting in November – the new device combines premium design and efficiency, which according to Samsung, should make it appealing for both fashion-conscious consumers and professionals. I’m not sure I dig that “fashion” part, cause this thing looks kinda bulky, but I’m sure the voice quality is right on target. In that sense, the Bluetooth 3.0-enabled HM7000 rocks Samsung isol?t dual-mic noise/echo cancellation technology as well as a boom mic for enhanced call clarity in a variety of environments.
Along with the headset, those with Android smartphones also get a free app, Samsung FreeSync that provides users with text-to-speech technology for email, SMS, social media feed updates, caller ID and more.
Finally the coolest part is HM7000’s desktop dock, which has its own battery (like Jabra Stone), adding the ability to fully charge the HM7000 up to three additional times while on the go. Nice!
