Google has updated two of its Android apps, Google Reader and Google Docs, making them look more Ice Cream Sandwich-like.
The first of the two apps looks pretty much the same as the previous version, featuring very few changes: there’s the fancy swipe left/right navigation and the ability to share articles via Google+ (rather than Google Buzz).
When it comes to Google Docs, the situation is pretty different. The new version looks better and is even more optimized for tablets. Then there’s improved video playback, support for both portrait and landscape modes, while information about your documents is now more easily found. Finally, sharing options now include auto-complete…
Updates to both Google Reader and Google Docs are readily available in the Android Market. Heck if you have these apps running on your smartphone or tablet, you’ve probably already updated them. If you don’t have them – Android Market links are below (in case you want them).
