Fans of Radical Entertainment’s Prototype are waiting anxiously for the April 24th release of Prototype 2. To feed their fans’ insatiable hunger to cause complete and utter havoc as the superpowered badass Sgt. James Heller, Radical Entertainment has teamed up with TwitchGames to offer Protoslice on the iOS platform.

If you’ve ever played TwitchGames’ Slice HD, then you’ll know what to expect. You’ll need to use your cunning, dexterity, and your finger tips in order to maneuver your way past the dangerous blades in order to push a button to progress. Protoslice offers its own style by having the player move Sgt. James Heller’s Blade Arms to access a P2 panic button, all the while the blades will offer varying sets of challenges as you progress through the game.

Protoslice is now available on the App Store and is completely free. If you’ve got the time and are counting down the days until Prototype 2 is released, this could serve as a decent way to spend your time until we all can slice up our enemies as Sgt. James Heller.
