Finally we have the UK release date for the Huawei Vision and Huawei MediaPad, the promising products (or so I think) made by the Chinese company.
The first of the two (smartphone) will be available before Christmas via Phones4U, which will offer it for free with plans starting at “about 25 GBP.” Specs wise, this baby is pretty much the Nexus S with a smaller 3.7-inch touchscreen — i.e. it comes with a 5-megapixel camera, 1GHz processor, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread with SPB Shell 3D is running the show.
As for the MediaPad, this 7-inch Android tablet will be released at some point in early 2012. It’s one of the sexiest 7-inch tablets announced thus far with specs that include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Wi-Fi, HDMI out, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and an optional HSPA connectivity. When it comes to its price, we’re hearing the unlocked version of the tablet will sell for 275 GBP which is about $442. Not bad at all…
