Remember the T-Mobile Springboard? Well the 7-inch tablet wasn’t released on November 9th as we previous thought; instead the carrier decided to postpone the launch for another week and now we’re hearing it will be available on November 16th. It is said that the 7-inch tablet (which we think of as T-Mobile’s version of Huawei MediaPad) will cost $179.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract.
Specs wise, the Springboard sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD expansion slot, while Android 3.2 Honeycomb is running the show (obviously upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich). You can check out our hands-on post from here.
Personally I like smaller tablets as they are easier to carry around though at the same time I realize some folks prefer 10-inch models to get more content on a single screen. Which tablet best suits your needs?
