If you’re on a market looking to grab yourself a 10-inch tablet that won’t break your bank, maybe the ViewSonic ViewPad 10e is worth considering. It doesn’t sport a fast dual-core processor nor does it run Android Honeycomb. Rather, it’s a Gingerbread-based device with a single-core 1GHz processor and 9.7-inch XGA (1024×768 pixels) display. In addition, there’s Wi-Fi connectivity on board, Bluetooth 3.0, stereo speakers, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, HDMI out, and 4GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded with memory cards. What’s more, SPB Shell 3D is running on top of the Android core, making for a neat experience.
The price, you ask? It’s 199 GBP (from Argos) which sounds as a fair deal to me. Then again, the first reviews are everything but flattering, though I’m not sure what people expect for 200 GBP, which is an equivalent of about $317. What do you say? Is it a good deal or you want something better?
