Aside from Sprint’s LG Marquee, we have another U.S. carrier preparing to launch its own version of the LG Optimus Black. It’s US Cellular, which will offer the popular smartphone under the name of LG Majestic (pictured above) – model US855. Aside from the name change, there won’t be any notable changes under the hood. In that sense, we’re talking about an Android smartphone with a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, EV-DO Rev. A and Wi-Fi connectivity, single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth and so on. Unfortunately, we don’t know when exactly US Cellular will launch the Majestic but given we have the first press image, it’s likely the official release will happen sooner rather than later. The same is true for the price – we’ve no idea how much the carrier will ask for LG’s baby, though I guess it won’t cost more than $150 on a two-year contract. We’ll see…
