Verizon wireless and Samsung Mobile today announced the Illusion, its latest addition to the Android family of smartphones but with a green twist.
The Samsung Illusion is a mid-range handset that sports Android 2.3, a 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 3 megapixel camera and more. Also, Samsung mentions how green/eco-friendly the phone is, stating that the box material uses 60 percent recycled paper, which seems to be the new catchy thing for mid-level phones nowadays.

Mid-range phones seem to be dropping by the day, as carriers and manufacturers prepare themselves for big holiday sales. You can purchase the Samsung Illusion from Verizon on Nov. 23, and it will be available in Verizon Wireless Stores after the new year for $79.99 on contract, or for free during Nov. 24 and Monday, Nov. 28 as an online promotion.
