Undelete for Android now available!

The developer of many useful utilities Fahrbot Mobile launched Undelete for Android. Still in beta, the application can recover any type of deleted file from your memory card or internal storage. You’ll need to have root access (i.e. to unlock your device) in order for Undelete to work and even then you shouldn’t expect miracles. For instance, the chances are slim for recovering a file you deleted a year ago — the app is best used with recently deleted files.

The Undelete application is said to come with fast scanning logic, and works with all types of files, including images, video, music, archives and binaries. However, only FAT is supported and on Tegra 2 devices, it can only “work” with files stored on the external SD card.

Undelete is available as a free download and if you’re device is rooted, you should have it running on your smartphone or tablet. Hopefully you won’t need it, but you never know…
