This isn’t the first time we’re writing about the LG Optimus Pad LTE — it was leaked roughly a month ago — but this time we have the official press release with all the details.
The LTE version of LG’s tablet comes with the same-sized (as the original Optimus Pad) 8.9-inch screen which is now True HD IPS (making for awesome colors as a result). Moreover, there’s Qualcomm’s dual-core processor under the hood clocking at 1.5GHz, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing one, HDMI out, DLNA support, Wi-Fi, 6,800mAh battery and a memory card slot. Size wise, the tablet measures 245×151.4×9.34 mm and has a weight of 497 grams.
At the moment, Android 3.2 Honeycomb is running the show, though we’re confident the Ice Cream Sandwich update is in works as we speak.
Unfortunately, we’ve no idea when the Optimus Pad LTE will be available outside of Korean peninsula and can only hope that will happen sooner rather than later…
