Motorola has started pushing a small update for the RAZR users in Europe. Unfortunately, it’s not Ice Cream Sandwich, but a minor maintenance upgrade that will bump your Android version to 2.3.6 (so it’s still Gingerbread).
From what we’ve heard, the new software is initially available in select countries, including Italy, France, Spain and the UK; with others most likely getting it soon afterwards.
We don’t have the full change log, but we do know this update brings “new Smart Actions sample rules like VIP Caller Mode and Auto Text SMS, as well as improved camera performance and better battery life.”
Yeah, you should update just don’t expect miracles from small updates like these. Make sure your phone battery is full charged and that you’re connected to a fast Wi-Fi hotspot before proceeding. If that’s on place – you’re good to go.
