Unbranded HTC One S running T-Mobile-ized Sense UI on video

While we already knew that T-Mobile would eventually carry the HTC One S at some juncture, we weren’t expecting to see the handset so soon in the wild. Actually, scratch that. What you see is indeed a HTC One S but it’s not a T-Mobile branded device. Still, the software on the screen looks mighty familiar and can only be from Team Magenta.

The video is rather short but it definitely enough to get some potential buyers excited for its release. The One S may not be as incredible as the One X but it’s still a solid phone through and through.

The One S packs a punch under the hood, rocking a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8 megapixel camera, VGA front-facing camera, Beats Audio support, 16GB internal memory expandable with microSD card slot, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the newly refined HTC Sense 4.0 as well. To top it off, the One S’ profile is an ultra slim 7.9mm.

The video below shows off some of the simple features we’re already aware of but this is the first time we’ve been able to get a glimpse of T-Mobile’s software. Other than the fact that the person in the video mentions that it’s running on T-Mobile’s 42Mbps HSPA+ network, the simple fact that we can see the handful of bloatware apps on the device when scrolling through the application drawer is a dead ringer that this is a T-Mobile device. Luckily, Ice Cream Sandwich allows you to “disable” applications. This doesn’t remove them from the device per say, but you at least don’t have to see them in your app drawer.

Bloatware or not, the upcoming T-Mobile One S is sure to be a hit. Now, we can continue to play the waiting game.

Need even more HTC One S goodness? Be sure to check out our hands-on with the device here.
