Gameloft has released quite the unique game today, which if you know anything about the company is something of a rarity seeing has how they normally release blockbuster-inspired games. The game is called Shark Dash and it’s now available on the App Store and Google Play.
Shark Dash tells the old tale of a happy-go-lucky bath toy named Sharky who is having a blast in the bathtub with his fellow shark friends. Then, out of nowhere, some jerk rubber duckies come down and kidnap Sharky’s girlfriend. Seeing as Sharky needs someone to cook, clean, and give him a fin massage every night, he and his other shark buddies set out to rescue her.
The game is a puzzle platformer where you guide Sharky and his friends through 96 levels of puzzles that are set across four different worlds, but really they’re just different tubs. Shark Dash rewards players with gold stars for completing puzzles with all ducks and coins within a specific amount of shots, which I certainly found to be quite a challenge to complete. The coins you collect in each level can then be used in the game’s shop to purchase elixirs that can undo one move at a time.
If you’re looking for a simple yet challenging puzzle platformer game that not only you, but your kids can also enjoy, then I can’t think of a better way to spend your $.99 than by buying Shark Dash.
