Verizon roadmap shows ICS updates landing soon on Razr, Razr Maxx and Rezound in May

Ice Cream Sandwich is coming soon for select Android phones on Verizon Wireless. Spotted on Reddit by The Verge, this leaked screen grab appears to be a roadmap detailing Verizon’s upcoming software updates. Of interest to Android customers are the first four entries on the sheet from the week of April 24, 2012.

The heading on this page suggests the HTC Rezound, Motorola Razr, Motorola Razr Maxx and both the Xoom 3G and 4G are scheduled to get their first official taste of Ice Cream Sandwich next month. According to the leaked document, the Rezound will be the first to get ICS in an update that’ll start to roll out on May 9th. The Razr and Razr Maxx will be next with an update that’s scheduled for May 21st. The Xoom is listed, but it’s date is still TBD.

As always, be skeptical of leaks like this and don’t rely on it when you are making purchasing decisions. Yes, it looks legit, but it’s from an unverified source and could be fake.
