EyeEm brings its photo sharing app to Windows Phone

If you want to try out some photo taking/sharing app that’s not Instagram or 500px, you may want to check out EyeEm. Up until this point it was available for iOS and Android devices, and now, thanks to the help of Microsoft and Nokia, Windows Phone users can join the party, too.

Similarly to Instagram, it comes with a number (14) of filters that allow you to quickly change the photo once you take it. Moreover, there are sharing capabilities included as well as the ability to follow photo streams of other people…

And if you need some background information, you should know that EyeEm originally launched on iOS and Android in August 2011, establishing itself as an “innovative method for discovering smartphone photography.” After updating to version 2.0 at the end of 2011 – introducing new user profiles and streamlined discovery options – the app has earned considerable praise from tech press and innovator photography blogs alike…
