Verizon kicked of CTIA 2012 week by announcing its latest 4G handset, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE from HTC. The Incredible 4G LTE has all the familiar HTC elements including Beats Audio and HTC Sense 4.0, which overlays Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The handset also features:

  • 4-inch qHD Super LCD display
  • 1.2-Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor
  • 8-megapixel camera with support for HD video and front-facing webcam
  • NFC with support for Android Beam that lets you share web pages, apps and video by tapping two compatible phones
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • mobile hotspot with support for up to 10 WiFi devices
  • microSD expansion (up to 32 GB)
  • 1,700 mAh battery

Release date and pricing are not yet available, so we will have to wait on Verizon to let us know when this next generation Incredible will land in stores.
