Garmin Fit app for Android and iOS got a new handy feature called LiveTrack, allowing users to let their friends know how their training session is going. In other words, LiveTrack can display, in real time, your pace/speed (depending whether you’re cycling or running), distance, elevation and more. For instance, if you own any of Garmin’s ANT+ accessories like a heart rate monitor, foot pod or cadence sensor – you can plug in an ANT+ Adapter and it will show those stats too! In other words, your friends get to see every move you make. 😉

Sure enough, there are a few other tools out there that can tell you where someone is, but with the Fit app and LiveTrack, Garmin has taken this to a new level.

Finally, if you’re wondering how much this benefit costs, the answer is $1.99 per month or $19.99 for an annual subscription. You can subscribe from within the Garmin Fit app, if you fancy so…
