When the upcoming Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 devices were announced back in early September, the two notable pieces missing from the picture were the pricing and release date for Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 headsets. Today, we’re starting to see these details emerge for some locales across Europe, with Nokia’s Germany, Italy, and Russia divisions each announcing pricing and release dates for both handsets.
Nokia Russia will offer the Lumia 820 19,990 rubles ($640) in red, white, and black, and the Lumia 920 for 24,990 rubles ($800) in yellow, red, white, and black color varieties. Preorders for both devices will begin today, with a general availability announced for Q4 2012. Nokia would not give a more firm release date than Q4, though we expect to see these devices start hitting shelves in early to mid November.
Nokia Germany plans to offer the Lumia 820 and 920 in November for €499 ($643) and €699 ($846) respectively, while Nokia Italy will offer the devices for just €499 for the 820 and €599 for the 920. Bloomberg is reporting that the Lumia 920 will go on sale at Italy’s TeliaSonera on November 12th.
The company has yet to announce pricing and availability details for the UK and US markets, though we expect more information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
