Netflix has announced this morning that they’re adding “Just for Kids” mode to the Netflix application for the iPad 2 and new iPad. The Just for Kids section of Netflix has been available on the web and gaming console Netflix apps for a while, and brings curated content the service finds suitable for those 12 and under, perfect for placating your kids on long car rides.
The service will make its way to the original iPad (likely a RAM issue) and Android tablets “in the near future.” The company did not announce whether the service would also make its way to smartphones, though we expect we’ll see that drop before too long as well.
