This didn’t take long. Apple just sent out iOS 6.1.1 updates to address the battery drain issue with the iPhone 4S. This after Vodafone warned 4S users to not update to iOS 6.1 until Apple fixed the problem. The new update weighs in at 23MB, and is supposed to fix an unknown cellular performance and reliability problem for iPhone 4S users.
Hopefully, this modest update will end the suffering that some folks have experienced with their last generation iPhones. The update is available over-the-air (OTA) via Settings > General > Software update, or through iTunes via USB connection.
Let us know in the comment section below, if this update cured any issues with your iPhone 4S?
