We’ve already heard that BlackBerry Q10 is coming to the UK and now we have the first carrier announcing plans to sell it. It’s O2, which wowed to start offering the QWERTY keyboard-equipped smartphone at some point in May. Price was not unveiled but knowing that the unlocked unit will (at least initially) go for 530 GBP, we tend to believe O2 will give away the Q10 to anyone willing to sign-up for a two-year contract with around 30 GBP/month tariff.
The BlackBerry Q10 sports a 3.1-inch 720×720 pixels touchscreen, 3G + 4G LTE (where that makes sense) and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing one, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal memory, microSD card slot and a 2,100mAh battery.
Thus far, BlackBerry has managed to move around 1 million Z10 units and we tend to believe the “traditional lookin'” Q10 will be even more popular.
In the other O2 news, the carrier is also preparing to add Nokia Lumia 710 and Sony Xperia Tablet Z to its portfolio…
