LG has started rolling out the Value Pack update for its Optimus G Pro, which we’ve reviewed few weeks ago. The new software, which should start hitting the phablet owners during the next few days, comes with few sexy features, including:
- Smart Video – works like Samsung’s Smart Pause, recognizing the position of the viewer’s eyes to automatically play or stop the video without any manual input. Using the front camera, the device can detect when your gaze returns to resume the video playback.
- Dual Camera – similarly to the Dual Recording function, Dual Camera simultaneously captures photographs of both the subject and the shooter.
- Pause & Resume Recording – so you can pause and start in record mode to create one continuous video file. Otherwise, you would have to create a new video clip whenever recording is restarted.
In addition, some of the existing functions also got the update: Magic Remote Pad and Text Keypad will be added to QRemote, making it easier to control your smart TV from the Optimus G Pro.
