Looks like Chinese women think mirrors are so last century when they’re turning to smartphones to fix their make-up. We’ve already seen that Oppo Ulike 2 with powerful front-facing camera, and now a similar product is set to hit the local market.

Called MeituKiss HD, this Android smartphone comes with two 8-megapixel Sony cameras, one on the back and the another one of the front. In addition, there’s also a 4.5-inch 720p HD screen, MediaTek’s 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM support, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card in case you need more gigabytes to store all those photos. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is running the show.

I would assume some sort of “beautifying” apps are there as well, allowing for instant photo effects.

Kinda weird and novel at the same time. I wonder when these kind of products will be released in the West. In China, the MeituKiss HD will start selling on May 16th. Price is still a mystery, though…
