Sony CX190 coming to fill-in the company's mid-range portfolio

Sony is apparently working on another mid-range smartphone which will likely be released by the end of the third quarter. Marked as CX190, it will come with an everything-but-impressive specs sheet and in that sense we tend to think it won’t break anyone’s bank. Back to the specs…

It is said that this phone will boast Qualcomm’s dual-core Krait processor (MSM8627 or MSM8230), 1GB of RAM, 4-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display, 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video recording, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, while Android Jelly Bean will run the show.

In other words, the CX190 will find its place just below the Xperia L. We guess it will cost around 200 EUR sans any strings attached while most carriers will offer it for free to anyone willing to sign a two-year contract. We’ll get back to you with more information as soon as we get them…
