Huawei is yet again teasing us with its Ascend W2 Windows Phone device. This time, their Italian division has turned to Facebook to spread the “gospel,” saying:
June 2013: as anticipated for many rumors, a new ultra-slim attractive design will enrich the collection of smartphones at Huawei!
From what we’ve heard before, the W2 will pack a 4.3-inch 720p HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, and a 2,000 or 2,800 mAh battery. The 7.7mm-thick device may also be water-proof making it that much more appealing for anyone enjoying to text and make/take phone calls in a bathroom.
As for the pricing, it is said that Huawei doesn’t want anyone to break his/her bank while getting the Ascend W2. That means around 300 EUR/USD sans any strings attached… or so we think. More to come…
