The official version of Vimeo for Windows Phone 8 has been updated. In version 2.1 users get the ability to do search or pause their video playback with voice commands. The Vimeo WP8 does much more than voice commands, as it lets folks watch and manage their existing Vimeo videos, use NFC Tap-to-Share to share your videos, search for videos, upload footage in High Definition.
The new voice command feature is a bit buggy, but we’re sure the kinks will be worked out in the next version. For all those interested in trying out the new Vimeo app for Windows Phone 8, can grab it for free here in the Windows Phone Store. Other features come at a cost once you sign up for the video services’ subscription.
