The Carphone Warehouse is among the first phone retailers to offer the sexy-new Huawei Ascend P6. Pre-orders are already live, with shipments set to commence on July 4th.
The price of the unlocked, SIM-free unit is set at 329.95 GBP (about $516), and there are also on-contract options with plans starting at 21 GBP per month.
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few days you should know that the P6 is the world’s slimmest device with a 6.18mm thin body; and specs that include a 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, Huawei’s own 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel BSI camera on the back, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of expandable storage and a 2000mAh battery. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is running the show.
Aside from the UK, Huawei will also be bringing its new flagship device to other parts of Europe and Asia with hopes to move some 10 million units.
