The recently announced HTC Desire 600 is now available in China. The local version of the device — marked as Desire 606w — is selling for 2,499 CNY, the amount that translates into around $408. Interested users can choose between the black, white and brown models.
Aside from China, HTC will also bring this mid-end product to Russia and perhaps some other countries in Europe and Asia. We doubt it will ever be released in North America, though. And we’re not necessarily think Americans will lose something for not trying it out — if you want an HTC phone, go for the HTC One.
Specs wise, the Desire 600 sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 4.5-inch qHD screen, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.6-megapixel front-facing one, 1GB of RAM, HTC’s signature dual speakers on the front with BoomSound, and 8GB of expandable memory…
