Sony Xperia Z Ultra Hits The FCC

While it was just announced earlier this morning, Sony’s new phablet, the Xperia Z Ultra, has just passed through the FCC.

Outside of the massive 6.4 inch 1080p HD display, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra ships with an incredibly impressive spec list. The device will also ship with a 2.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, micro SD card slot, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and more.

Sony has been on a roll with its latest line of devices and although the thought of a 6.4 inch device in your hand or pocket sounds unwieldy, we’re betting that a good chunk of people will be drawn to the phablet.

Wherever the device lands exactly is beyond us at the moment, but we’re glad to see the phablet device hit the FCC already.
