According to a leaked roadmap picked up by Phone Arena, the upcoming HTC One and Moto X release dates have been revealed, showing that we should be getting both devices sometime next month.
As per usual, Verizon has taken its sweet ass time to get its version of the HTC One out to the US, but the wait looks to be over rather soon. The road map pegs the release date of the Verizon HTC One for August 1st, and if this date holds up, customers will be able to get their hands on the sexy device in less than a month. The handset has been available on all three major US carriers for a few months now, and even the Google Play Edition of the handset has beat Verizon to the punch. Still, it’s better late than never.
Another handset that has been swirling around for a good while now is the Moto X. Whatever you think about the new handset and it’s ‘designed by you‘ approach, it’s coming. The roadmap gives the date of August 23rd for the release date. The Moto X is expected to land on all four major carriers in the US, so if we’re seeing a late August time frame for Verizon, we’re sure that the remain three carriers will likely announce the device within the same timeframe as well.
The two handsets above aren’t the only devices that saw release dates on the roadmap, but they’re certainly the most interesting of the bunch.
- The LG Exalt will launch on July 25th and is said to have “crystal clear sound quality and the largest display available on a basic flip phone.”
- On August 8th, Verizon will launch a 4G/LTE Router.
- On August 15th, the Samsung Convoy 2 will be replaced by its successor, the Samsung Convoy 3.
- On August 30th, Verizon will launch the pre-paid handset, the Samsung Stellar.
Of course, some, if not all of these dates are subject to change. Nonetheless, those of you who have been patiently awaiting the HTC One on Verizon don’t have long to wait anymore.
