Google Sending Out Invitations For July 24th Event

Google is getting ready for an announcement a week from now, and is sending out invitations for the event that simply says that it’s  “breakfast with Sundar Pichai.” This means we have either an Android or Chrome announcement on our hands, but exactly what it could be remains to be seen.

There are quite a few things that we could see next week, like Android 4.3, the new Nexus 7, or even the Moto X. Whatever it is, it’s likely not a huge announcement, but interesting nonetheless. We could also see some new announcements for Chrome as well.

If we had it our way, we’d like to see the new Nexus 7 be announced with Android 4.3 pre-installed. Luckily, that could indeed be what’s announced. The upcoming Nexus 7 has been rumored for quite some time now, and is said to ship with an improved display, Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU (S4 Pro or 600), rear camera, and Android 4.3.

Whatever the announcement turns out to be, you can tune into a live stream of the event on YouTube.
