Google has updated its Hangouts app for Android, bringing some minor yet performance enhancing features to the app. The update brings Google’s Hangouts app up to version 1.1, and its packing some new emojis, project butter goodness as well as a slew of bug fixes.
Here’s what’s new in Google Hangouts:
- Added more emoji!
- We added some butter to Hangouts to make it run faster and slicker.
- Fixed a bunch of bugs.
So far, Google’s Talk replacement has been pretty useful, with a slick interface and easy access to video calls and messages. We’d love to see SMS and Google Voice integration, but we’ll have to be content with some sweet emojis for the time being.
