OK we get it – everyone and their mama are looking to buy a smart watch. The new HOT Watch project, where that “HOT” stands for “Hands On Talk”, is yet another confirmation that there’s money to be made in this market.
The device is similar to other smart watches we’ve seen before with the addition of a Bluetooth headset built inside the watch, allowing users to literally “talk to the hand.” Plus, there’s the ability to accept, reject and end phone calls with a gesture.
Design wise, HOT Watch is slimmer than many similar devices we’ve seen in the past and it too comes with an array of sensors to allow users to use it for various fitness activities. Messaging and all other sort of notifications also come included making sure you don’t miss a beat without constantly looking at your phone.
The HOT Watch will work with any number of Bluetooth 4.0-enabled handsets but to get all the features, you’ll need an iPhone or some Android-based smartphone. Check out a short demo video and decide for yourself whether it’s worth supporting or not. I love it. 😉
