While iOS gamers in Australia and New Zealand have been enjoying Plants vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time since July 9th, the rest of us have had to wait. Today there’s a glimmer of hope, and it looks like the long awaited sequel will finally be releasing tomorrow, August 15th
An image of a familiar zombie hand rising from the ground popped up on the iOS App Store’s Facebook page accompanied by the caption, “It’s about time. Guess what game is coming tomorrow?” It couldn’t be much more cut and dry. iOS users get ready for a new round of zombie tower (well ok, yard) defense coming to your devices tomorrow!
An iOS exclusive, Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time was set for a July 18th international release. PopCap Games delayed the sequel from its July 18th to review server stability and the functionality of the game’s new free to play pricing model. The game had a soft launch in the relatively small markets of Australia and New Zealand first, to test out the strain on PopCap’s servers and smoothness of monetary transactions.
