Apple’s event is currently underway and so far the biggest announcement has been the official release date of iOS 7. Starting September 18th, iOS 7 will land on iPhone 4, 4S, and 5 models, iPad 2 and later models, along with the iPad Mini and the 5th-gen iPod Touch.
iOS 7 is easily the best version of Apple’s software to date, offering up a modern yet elegant user interface and features that have been missing for some time now. Apple’s been hard at work fine tuning the experience, making it a large departure from previous versions, all while retaining a familiar feel overall.
