Instagram is updating its Android app today, bringing a few goodies that the iOS version of the app has had for a few months now. The update, version 4.1.2 is rolling out slowly to Instagram users.
The app now has to ability to straighten pictures, which is a feature iOS users have been enjoying for some time now. For video viewers, the update brings sound and data usage controls to make the video viewing experience a little less annoying.
While the full changelog is not yet posted on Google Play, the listing does show the update date as October 10th and the “Current Version” is listed as 4.1.2. We’ll keep you updated as more details roll out.
