A new month is here and that means new deals! November brings with it chilly temperatures, shorter days and turkey dinners. But the 11th month also brings some seriously sweet free downloadables for Playstation Plus and Xbox Live Gold users. Check out the list below!
Sony might just have outdone itself this time, bringing a huge amount of content to the PS3, PS Vita, and the first freebie for the Playstation 4! The PS4 launches on November 15th in North America, and those early adopters will be able to download the indie puzzler Contrast for free! PS3 and Vita gamers are getting hooked up too
Playstation Plus Brings Deals for PS3, Vita, and even the PS4!
Sony revealed the PS3 and PS Vita games that Playsation Plus subscribers will be getting for free this month, but that wasn’t all. For the first time, Sony’s brand new PS4 is getting the hook up too!
When the PS4 launches on Nov. 15, PS Plus subscribers will have day one access to download Resogun and Contrast for free . Contrast is a 2D/3D indie puzzler that replaces Drive Club – which was delayed until 2014.
Heading up the PS3 downloads is Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, the “expanded and enhanced” edition of Capcom’s open-world fantasy RPG. Also included are Sega’s excellent and underrated Sci-Fi shooter Binary Domain , and co-op puzzler, Ibb & Obb.
The PS Vita gets two free titles as well! Hack and slash title Soul Sacrifice and the HD remake of Oddworld: Strangers Wrath. Not too shabby!
PS Plus subscriptions cost $49.99 for an entire year or $17.99 for three months, and are good across all Sony systems!
Microsoft Gets the Participation Prize, I Guess:
Microsoft’s Games with Gold freebies once again leave some thing to be desired. For the month of November, you can grab free downloads of World of Kelflings and Iron Brigade for your Xbox 360.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t played either of these games. I know a lot of folks love their Kelflings, and Iron Brigade looks pretty cool (especially since it’s from Double Fine!!). Still, this seems like more of the same from Microsoft; old games that were never very big. At least last month’s Halo 3 download was a big title, if an ancient one….
Anyway, my griping aside, these are free games! Xbox Live Gold users, be sure to grab these.
