Samsung is preparing to launch a series of “Lite” devices next year. One of those will be the Galaxy Grand Lite, which has been caught while getting the much needed approval from the U.S. FCC.

The FCC’s listing is everything but revealing, only saying this will be a “phone with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth” which pretty much describes every Android smartphone released in the last few years.

Rumors, on the other hand, suggest this will be one big entry-level device with specs that include a 5-inch WVGA screen (480 x 800 pixels), dual SIM capabilities, 5-megapixel camera on the back, VGA front-facing camera, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a microSD memory card slot.

Aside from this phone, the Korean giant will also launch few other “Lite” devices soon, including Galaxy Note Lite and Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. It is said that these will launch either at the upcoming CES or MWC. We’ll see…
